Our fauna and flora are a gift from heaven to us. We are supposed to live in harmony with nature. We have seen species after species vanishing into oblivion. Are we ready to lose yet another species, the African wild elephants. Africa is the killing ground and who supports this? Most of the trade appears to be in Asia and to a minor extent in other countries. I hope the Chinese government and the Asians everywhere consider the plight of these helpless creatures in all earnestness.
