Actually there is such a thing as Banana Bread Beer. One of my students was kind enough to give me a bottle to taste. I am not much of a beer drinker except occasionally a Pilsner or Samuel Adams. I shared the Banana Bread Beer with my son. We found it really nice. It has about 5.2% of ALC by volume. It does have a banana flavor and tasted very good. It is a product of UK.
Long ago Ale was considered to be 'Liquid bread' and hence the name, I reckon. You can save the bottle and redeem cash.
