Wrong, wrong, the polls were terribly wrong

Big data,
small data,
analytics!

Oh! They seemed to have extracted nothing from the data they had, mountains of data. Most polls proved wrong by a mile or more.

Of course, Bing made big bad predictions, I don't know about Google or Siri.

Vini, Vici, Vidi - Trump vanquishes Hillary to win the race

The victory was decisive. Trump won the Presidency with a huge margin. He won fair and square.

This result is all the more significant as he fought against the entrenched forces; massive advertisement spending from the other side; a ganged-up media; spending a percentage of what the other side spent; against a massive support by the sitting President and the First Lady; and a list too long to dwell upon not to speak of party insiders who wanted him to lose, lose badly.

Now with a clear mandate, he should have an open road towards fulfilling election promises so that those who were hurting for a longtime get some relief. Jobs, jobs and more jobs.

Long live democracy and hope we will have a multi-party government in the future years where there will be possibility of more checks.

Should Bernie Sanders hang his hat?

A resounding no. On the contrary he should stay till the end game. This is not just a fight for becoming the President Of USA, it is a fight to bring about a profound change in the society. In fact, he is obliged to fight on for those principles, as so many have thrown in their lot with him for a future they believe in.

Move on to DC. This may be easy for the Secretary, though.

First of all, he should make it a point to change the way elections are run and the way they are financed. Right now the rich and the famous have a free run of how the elections are run by throwing money at it. This works best for those candidates who can bestow favors on the donors once they are in the office.

Make the election process more transparent, uniform for one and all; no superdelegates; and no big money donors.
